Low power consumption PC HW?

Hi folks!
'k, so long story short - I couldn't care less about the power consumption of my 0lsch00l AM2 rig @ my dorm, but I do care about the power consumption of my even more 0lsch00l Socket A rig @ home. So far I figured out that a E21x0 on a MoBo w/ G41/G45 would be pretty ok for me. Kinda find Atom pretty weak. :/ Any opinions, suggestions?

What do you need to do with the PC? Do you care about size? Expansion?

AMD zagate is worth looking into. As well, if you can spend more, the new i3s are lower power, about the same at idle, etc etc...

I haven't been able to find any on sale anywhere yet, but Intel lists an i5 2500T processor with 45w max TDP as having been released January 9. To me, that's probably the best power:performance processor out there... if you can find one.

The PC would be for everyday's stuff - browsing web, music, movies (don't care about HD movies that much), maybe an older game to play - but that's it. Basically - I try to replace my old home PC - an oldschool Sempr0n (Socket A OC'ed @ ~2GHz w/ 2x512MB RAM, FX5500/MX400/X1650 video) system. I could get a E21x0 + a G41 MoBo (going for integrated graphics) for almost nothing, but maybe there is a better ''combo'' @ AMD's front? Suggestions?
