Hd 6850 oc + hd 6870 flex

Hey everyone...

I know some of you might have the exact same setup I do...and I would love to get some input on fps in terms of these GPUs....I know CPUs have a good 10-15% effect on fps, but I am just hoping to come to someone who wouldn't mind showing me their fps on some games - specifically Resident Evil 5.

Area 1 I averaged 220 fps (similar to some review on a 6870 CF setup with an i7).

Overall fps after all 4 areas was 178.9 fps. Significantly lower than 236 fps reported with i7 and 6870 CF...

Anyone got some good numbers?

i currently have a 6850 CF..

borrowd an XFX 6870 for crossfire.

only 400pts difference in 3DM06.

pretty mediocre increment if you considere the price difference.

both cards where overclocked at 950/1050.

cpu was 4.5Ghz.
