Bloodrage- Single GPU stuck at x4?

I just swapped mobos, everything in my signature is the same except now I'm running a Bloodrage. First thing I did was flash it to P11 bios. Once I got everything up and running, for some reason my 5870 is reporting X4 bandwidth in GPU-Z (PCI-E 2.0 x16 @ x4 2.0). I only have one card installed right now, and it's top red slot as it should be. Any idea why?

    I see that nobody responds.

    1) have you tested remaining PCIe slots?
    2) have you tried your second graphic card?

It can be faulty graphic card.

Im not sure if its possible in BIOS, but some mobos have ability to hard set PCIe rate.

Also make sure that the contacts are clean as that can cause issues with bandwith.

this happened to me with my old 4850 video card.

reseat the card and check again.

it usually set it to x4 when the card was somewhat loose.
