Thanks but E8300 has too low multi. I already have one golden E8200 which I'll test soon on cascade or LN2, have this E8400 and need a good E8600 cause of 10x multi .
And btw 4400MHz at 1.53v is very bad. My E8400 can do 4500 at 1.32v stable on air. I also had one similar E8400 chip 4500 ~1.34v on air but I sold it, cause the first core of this E8400 is too good and I like benching Spi . The other one was better like dual core both cores can pass SPi at 100Mhz lower than the first core of this one and 100Mhz higher than the second one , but never tried for high FSB, also I don't care for multicore benchmarks cause a dual core CPU is too slow compared to quad.

I agree with u and yes i got a "poop" cpu even my E4400 was better than this one.

Very, very impressive. You're close to rivalling that FSB record, but superb clock! Those GB heatsinks look nice and cool, probably their best stock cooling solution.
I had an EP45 (non-t) but my vmod shorted and blew it up. All I have left is my EP45T-USB3P and some reasonable ddr3, and an E8400 and E8500 that can do >600fsb on air. I'm tempted to try for something higher but never gone down the LN2/phase route (nor do I even know where to get it)!

    Good work.

Actually all 8xxx CPUs can do 600+ FSB on air if the board can do it(not sure about E8300, but 8400, 8500, 8600 all can do it). The world record for FSB is 750 and its too high, never tried with lower multi may be I can do 730-735 at least . My board is not voltmoded I cant sea a reason about that(may be vdroop cause there is no LLC, but I dont care about that).

Almost 2 years later some better results while benching for the country cup .
    E8400 @6480MHz SPi 1m WR - 7.219s
pic from the setup - click
    Also with E8200 SPi 1m WR - 8.172s
Both results CPU on LN2 and NB on LN2, board used EP45T Extreme. Not good efficiency it was only a quick test with what was left in the pots after finishing benching 32M.
    E8400 @6075MHz - SPi 32M

P.P. Happy New Year to all!

1M @ 720 MHz FSB is really nice. I am only aware of two guys who have 730 MHz and above validated with CPU-Z.
