Anyone successfully reported a bug to AMD support?

I just went through a very painful 5 month period trying desperately to report a bug with eyefinity, crossfire and 2x 7970's. I have simply been unable to get AMD to take a bug, they just stick to their script and wont move into the helpful mode. I gave up and got 2 NVidia cards since the bug was a rather critical performance problem (In normal Windows) but I am keen to hear if anyone has successfully interacted with AMD support and got a bug raised and fixed.

    Not like NVIDIA listens either...
What was your problem with it, and why isn't this in the ATI/video subforum(?)

Since drivers 10.4 I've had flickering with dual or triple monitor with crossfire HD5770s and Overdrive enabled. So if I overclock my cards I get massive screen flicker on my second monitor. (Middle if triple)

Reported it probably 30 times over a year and a half span, but I've given up. I've just had to run my cards stock speed (15% slower...) or enable Overdrive just as I start gaming and turn off my second screen.

Thanks for that link. Not once in 5 months of back and forth with AMD technical support did they provide that! Not that it matters anymore but at least I can report the issue into the blackhole and maybe one day they will look at it and try to fix it. Not expecting anything this century of course.

I'm so sick of their driver quality over quantity policy that I've turned green all over my body.

Its good they finally have one, but it remains to be seen whether they actually start to listen. Something is going badly wrong in AMD at the moment. Obviously their CPU division has had a bad few years and the cold seems to be catching onto the Graphics side of their business too. If they keep ignoring the best intentioned bug reports from their users (and bare in mind I gave these guys £1000) I think its fair to say they wont be around much longer.

But based on my experience with their technical support I think its extremely unlikely the new reporting mechanism will be any different. Its slow decline from here on out by the looks of things.

PS got the GTX 680's today and my oh my do they run smooth. The frame rate isn't much better but when the FPS is sub 60 it doesn't stutter and that makes the world of difference. I am surprised more reviews have not commented on how vastly superior the smoothness of frame rate is on 680 SLI compared to 7970 xfire, its night and day difference and it shows up clearly in fraps frame times as well. I am finding these cards much more to my liking, and thankfully so far I have had no bugs to report.

There was one before...there has been one for a long time...

If they start listening I'll be pleasantly surprised.
