We've had what I'd call an interesting week.
4 snowstorms in 7 days and now COLD is here.
Supposed to be minus 12F tonight.
I decided to do something I've never had time to do before and that was to indulge my passion for another hobby I've had since I was 12 years old: Cars.
Barrett-Jackson Auction happened this week in Scottsdale,Arizona and the Speed Channel carried 40 hours of it from Tuesday to today.
I watched every damned second of it.
Saw some amazing cars sold.
a 1965 Chev Malibu Z16 that you never see. Only 201 made.
The new Boss 302 Mustang with 444HP that auctioned for $450,000.00 for the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
Just some fantastic cars from the 1930's to present.
I remember my father taking me to Al Grillo Ford in Lynn,Mass in 1966 when I was 14 and seeing a gleaming blue and white 427 AC Cobra in the showroom and I fell in love with that car.
It's something that gets into your blood and you either have it or you don't.
If I ever hit the lottery I will get one, or maybe the Daytona Cobra..
It's a tossup on those two..
