    Cheers.
Its the only ram Iv tested, buts its probably the best ram you can buy for 149 on the 4gb kit.

Im running into blck limits and thats whats holding my board back.

sandy bridge and these are a dream.

Im on a 26 dollar air cooler I got from best buy and a fully closed case with fans that you can barely hear and Im stable at 5100mhz and benching at 5300.Im afraid to push the volts any higher since some people are reporting the chips are dying.

Im at 1.5 now on full load and it idles at 1.1 ish

I got some Gskills installed today, they are the F3-17000CL9-2GBXMD models, basically the step down from these, but at 1.5v and 9-11-9-29-2t. Using the XMP profile they were set at 9-10-9-28-2t. I am running two kits for 8gb total and had to increase the voltage to 1.55v. All I can say is that Gskill is selling some impressive ram kits right now. Here is a screen shot:

I haven't tried to tweak them since I just got them installed, but for $200 ($99.99 for each kit), I think they are pretty impressive.

What bios are you running,I have the 1700cl7 and 17600 cl7 2gb kits and when using them with only 2 sticks(4gb) I can get 2200mhz with tight timings but as soon I run all 4 sticks it will only post at 1800 with cl8 and wont post at 2133 with any timings.

1204. I did have some issues getting it going at first. It wouldn't post with 4 sticks. I then removed my PERC5i card from the x4 slot and it posted. I got all the settings configured and then put the PERC5i card back in and it posted with no issues. Haven't had any issues since. Just an FYI, my voltage settings for VCCSA (.90v) and VCCIO (1.0v). DIMM voltage had to be set to 1.55v before it was stable at the XMP profile with 4 sticks.

Im waiting for a new bios,I see you have the cl9 kit, mine are the cl7 and run at 1.65 volts stock.

I have them running at 9-10-9-27 2t now at 2200 mhz and its sad that I can run 7-10-7-25 1t at that speed when they are only 2 sticks.

I guess its not that bad.Im getting almost 26000 reads in aida64 with slower timings vs 27500 with tight timings.

board is very picky with my ram.

CL6 at 2100+Mhz, isn't that faster than the best Hypers like the GTX2s? Could this RAM run this fast in a triple channel config on a X58, or would Hypers still be king there?

Pscs cas seem to clock a lot better on this platform but the trcd on the hypers are better, seems like hypers still are king on 1156/1366

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

OK it passed memtest up to 2200-7-10-10-27 but its very unstable in windows at voltages it liked with my other rams (Kingston HyperX T1 2000) so its not happy at all ......

Yeah there is something weird going on here, the ram passes memtest up to 2200-7-10-10 but the system is unstable at any cpu settings (just testing default now to be sure) ... it looks like it just doesnt like this ram ...ffs ....

It has a ram multi for 2133 at 100 bclk, and needs 103.2 bclk for 2200, with my other rams and same cpu it is stable to 105.1 and my other cpu was stable to 106.2 or so.

Edit: Yep unstable with cpu at stock, ram at 2133, now testing 1600....

Edit2: Ok it seems to be stable at 1600, testing 1866, still not good though. has anyone else had issues with these rams?

Edit3: now this is looking a little different, my system is unstable with cpu at any clocks while the ram is on 2133 multi so is this looking like a compatibility issue?

Bro - what timings should I run these rams at if Im stuck with 1866 multi? I can get them to about 1950 so should they run 7-7-7 ?
