Dam dude, I cant believe how well your dimms are considering they arent hypers.. Guess its your chip though.. If you could do 6/9/6 @ 2100-2200 im sure you'll see better results.. overall nice Results mate!

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Thank mate have managed to get it abit higher 2141Mhz 6-10-6-27 1T

I can get 6-9-6-27 at 2133Mhz but its not has fast has 2241 6-10-6-27 1T Sandy bridge seems to love more Mhz!

Nice results I think anything with Ripjaw in its name from G.Skill is just awesome stuff. I put the Ripjaw kit I was using in my 890FX build into my Extreme4 build to see what it could do and got my PC12800 up to 2154MHz, thats just stellar

ED - Oh and don't let the Asus CPU-Z throw you off, these results are done on my Extreme4 and verified absolutely stable with HCI Memtest. I might be able to use lower timings, haven't tried yet.

My G.Skill Ripjaw kit isn't the kit bro20000 has, but the PCB on mine is green and they still got to 2154MHz, maybe more as I haven't finished testing yet. If thats anything to go by, I'd say no, PCB colour doesn't seem to particularly matter.

Some Ripjaws have black PCBs, others green. I think alex was assuming as bros heatsinks are black the PCB is black too.

I guess G.Skill just use whatever PCB they have available at the time then. Thats a bit sucky, you pay X amount more expecting to get something thats damn sexy for your windowed rig and G.Skill can't be arsed to make sure they have plenty of PCBs around. Manufacturers make a killing on the amount of money us enthusiasts throw at them (inflated prices etc), least they can do is not use nasty green PCBs. I'd even like manufacturers to offer more PCB colours for memory, maybe white, blue and red.

Are these the best rams atm for SB? is it worth getting two sets for 8GB or is 4 enough? Are max clocks reduced with four sticks in?

    Cheers.
