Heh, found the thread. It's just classic.

I wish I can have a 580, I am running on 3 GTX260s and one 9800GTX+. The GTX260 and the 9800 only runs about 2/3 of the day. I also have a mobility 5870 on a laptop. All combined I think I can pull about 700k a day.

I will be only running full bore once a month. Other than that, I might just stay at around 200-300k a day.

Screw waiting for a bigger PSU. I just brought my GTX570 online with a semi-decent 450W PSU (SilverStone - FSP source). If it can last 2 days till my SG07 arrives, I'll be happy

@JS- Yeah, screw a PSU, get that thing crunchin... in fact, see if you can OC the card and kill the old PSU

I will be sticking around. I am close to a some milestones on a couple of other progects so will proboably also run them a bit also. Your 580s are pretty amazing. I may have to get a 460 since the Nvidia perform better on here then most of my ATI.

this is what ive got running pair of 5770s, 260, 98gx2, 96gso, 3850agp, and 3870agp. im going to have to seriously look at a couple of 480s, or maybe a 570....

@skycrane- First of all, I don't mind the Bengals (especially with this whole peaceful rivalry thing between Chad Johnson and Terrel Owens), but there is NO DENYING the Steeler Nation. If we're gonna lose, at least Green Bay is a real team... not like those two p#ssy teams we beat in XL and XLIII, the Seahawks?.... the Cardinals?..... come on. At least this will be a real game tonight and at least you're not a Redskins fan...
@glennpat- Yes the 580s are quite amazing, but the 570s are better for crunchin' if heat and power are a concern (in my opinion) so both you guys should look at those if you're upgrading soon.

If either of you knows stoneageman, you should see if he'd return. He put up some great numbers a few weeks back... just for a couple days though if I recall... not sure why he quit.

Well, he's the #1 producer of GPUGrid, and he went back there. You can reach him, he's a member on XS.

Just FYI, he was only running a pair of GTX295s that week, out of his 12 machines. He also has another rig filled with 4 GTX 580s. Major dedication there.

If he brings all his rigs to PrimeGrid, I am sure he can make more than 10 mil per day.

Once I have completely installed and setup all the rigs I will have 3X 4890's, 4X 5870's, 3X GTX 470's, 1X GTX 480, 2X GTX 570's and in a week or two my main rig should be up and running 4X GTX 580's if everything for the LC system comes in from PPC's.
I had been running them all on WCG and WCG GPU Grid for another team and have since left them for personal reasons.

Okay, WTF! I haven't received credit for any of my WUs overnight. I should be over a half mil already and I'm only at 40k. What the hell is going on? My machines are uploading the completed WUs, but my average has been declining since last night. So frustrating!

So I just searched through the Tasks section on the PrimeGrid site and totaled it all up. I have 373 PPS Sieve tasks that are completed and awaiting validation since yesterday morning. That's 1,687,079 points. The PG servers must be bogged down or something... what other explanation could there be?

There was an unplanned update to a new PRPNet-Server version on GFN ports

This causes a missbehavior of handling pending credits, which can not be fixed during the challenge. Unfortunately I had to turn off this functionality, so all returned work is influencing challenge stats, whether it was downloaded before the challenge start or not.

I have a few WU stuck there, though I'm not crunching right now, since I just learned it's not good for SSD So not only that, I need yet another HDD for my GTX460.... the contraints of mTIX, lol.

Nice, good find. I knew there had to be an explanation, and that makes sense because the first day I noticed this odd behavior was the day after the challenge started. I think it ends today sometime though. That'll be a nice blast of points!
