A later tidbit: I was setting up my computer today (well.... 1AM might count as today ) and after installing the 10.12 AAP edition, it still kept on crashing out every WU in the frist 2 seconds. Well.... reboot, and all issues were resolved I guess if this is the first time one is installing the stream sdk or the AAP (which bundles in the 2.x stream sdk required for this), reboot to engage it

Well, of course. You should always reboot after installing drivers

lol... I don't even reinstall the OS when I swap platforms I'm that kind of person I should have another few WU to upload tonight when I get back home.

Also, is there any way to automate this? It requires I hit "update" project every time to upload the completed tasks....

If you are using Windows Vista/7
    Go to C/ProgramData/BOINC/cc_config.xml
    Open it in Notepad.

    Put this code:
    <report_results_immediately>1</report_results_immediately>

    In between <options> and </options>

GTX 460s are so crazy in this project it's not even funny.

This project uses any generation of cards. I am planning of getting 2 9800GTs and add another 9800GTX+ on this project.

Hmmmm.... my HD5770 runs ridiculously cool (58C) at 41% fan speed, under 98-99% cunching load.... rather silent, IMO. I like it.

I'll be joining the GTX460 club shortly with a MSI HAWK TWNFRZR Though I'm intending to WC it.... assuming my silly GTX460/MCW80 adaptor plate arrives anytime soon.........

So much for the HD5770 running cool.... my mobo (Zotac 9300 G-E mITX) decided the NB wasn't cool enough, lol... so it overheated randomly and shut down while I was away

Minor repaste later, and I'm back!! Seriously, the stock TIM on the nVidia chipset was horrible, and that's giving it some leeway, too. So now it shouldn't overheat anymore

Is this a hidden file? I cannot find it, right now (using VNC, lol, too slow of a network to bother trying changing windows settings... until I get back home ).

Welcome to the club!! Right now, this thread is just lkiller123 posting the proper stuff, and me posting my personal junk on here, but you are always welcome

On a side note, I'll probably drop off the charts when I take my only HD5770 offline permenantly, lol... only 6 more WU to go before it goes back to the office (though the HD5770 is mine....) while my GTX460 should arrive by Fri.

Yeah, ProgramData is a hidden folder. Just make sure that the setting to hide hidden folders is unchecked in folder settings.

I will probably run all-out for this week, looks like we can break top 50 in a week. This project has LOTS of competition right now.
