Because of Windows Update (ahem), my PC rebooted friday evening, and I wasn't home for the whole week-end.

    Back to crunching now
Sorry for my bad english, I'm trying to improve it

I don't know how long I can take this GTX480 blaring in my ear or the 80F temp in a 60F climate and can't wait to dump the 10 days of results I have from an ATI card

We were actually doing over 17 million a day last week. I've cut back on my dual 460 rig, temps were too high from the CPU burnin 24/7 converting my bluray library to MP4. I've converted almost 200 so far, 6 TB down to 1.5 TB. x264 is awesome. I can cut down the file size by up to 75% with almost zero loss in quality AND still keep the audio in 5.1 surround. As soon as the A/C needs to be turned on (couple weeks maybe) I'm gonna stop my dual 580 rig for the summer and just crunch the dual 460s.

Time for a nightcap, work at 6:30 am tomorrow.

Nice job Stoneage! Looks like I'm stepping down to a 4670 again. My GTX480 burned up this has been the 3rd one I've had to RMA due to folding lost this one on primegrid and two others on F@H. I'm starting to think these weren't designed for heavy constant load???

The 980x is on water just can't justify spending $150 on a block

EDIT: maybe I'll go with a MCW82 and a hybrid cover.

Happened to me once with the GTX260, where the fans "mysteriously" turned down to 40%.

I will be heading over to GPUGRID for a couple days. It is getting hot and the GPUGrid team seems to need a bit of help.

If the weather doesn't get any better than I will be seeing you guys after summer.

I was away for the weekend camping in Maryland, had everything shut down because of the heatwave coming through. It's supposed to hit 93 today in Pittsburgh. I'll be back up with some points in a day or two, but after that it'll be just one machine.

Hope everyone's enjoying the summer so far. I know I am. I'll get some points up the next few nights hopefully.

THIS has put the cat amongst the pigeons. Time to re-evaluate participation in the project
