New BIOS seems to have helped me gain stabillity @ 4.9 on 2600K+P8P67 DLX. It would shut itself off after about an hour. I found that it's also much quicker to BSOD on an unstable overclock due to low vcore.

That's strange. EZ Flash is what I used and there wasn't any issues flashing.

I had issues with EZ Flash saying "Not an EFI BIOS" but then I just put it on a different flash drive and it works just fine.

New BIOS is nice for the Pro but my previously stable CPU clock is now unstable with even more voltage.

Ok so the new bios gave not enough IO volt with auto setting and it made my ram unstable. Just letting everyone know.

So if we flash to this bios, then we are unable to flash back with the EZ Flasher that was/is in the Tools tab? That sucks...

Also, are the bios' compatible with base and EVO models? Up till now the bios has been exactly the same for all P8P67 models.

Well that seems odd - maybe I misunderstood - so for clarification - if you flash to a later bios and it is unstable you can't flash back to the previous stable bios?

Nifty! Was able to drop one notch on my CPU voltage offset and maintain a stable 4.8 GHz OC. Also dropped my DDR3-1866 timings to 8-9-8-24-1T from 8-9-8-27-2T.

    Correct
I've tried EZFLASH; Bupdater from DOS and Windows update utility. All will not allow you to fallback to previous bios.
If there is a way, i would appreciate someone posting the info here. This is for the P8P67 series boards.

Saw a forum post from 2008 saying to tick Downgrade box in Asus Update settings. Maybe this feature has been removed.. worth a try.

I misspoke, I didnt enable xmp, I simply looked at the SPD timings for XMP #1 and manually entered just the 7-7-7-21-2T manually into the timings section.

I sure hope the BIOS support for the Pro micro will be there. So far it is still on the initial release.

Try this please, shutdown the system. Remove power from the power supply for a minute or two, clear CMOS, then reattach power. Startup, enter UEFI and input your required settings, for your memory please manually change the memory speed, timings and dram voltage based on your kit specifications. Reboot, enter Windows, then shutdown again. Now restart the system. This will clear the ME and memory/CPU tables. It could be that after flashing the BIOS up from a lower version (pre-1053) that the tables were never properly cleared. This is especially true if the MEI driver is not loaded. Let me know if this helps, if not we will go to step two.

In testing I found that the voltages are slightly lower overall but stability was still maintained. We also changed how the auto settings work on C1E, C3, and C6 and are dependent now on EIST being enabled or not. In addition LLC was fine tuned so previous settings might not work as before. If you continue to have problems, please PM me and we will work it out offline.
Why do people claim to know something they do not and then write about it.

Hmm either this BIOS or AI Suite II update is preventing me from adjusting the multiplier from within TurboV EVO. The tab that was there for CPU multiplier adjustment has completely disappeared...

Hello, whenever I set manual multi with "multi in bios" option, it somehow changes to "multi in os" option. Is this intended or a bug?

Also what's CPU Capability? whether I set it to normal 100% or 130%, it doesn't affect the OC stability.

    *sigh*

Is anyone else unable to resume from sleep?

Every time I try, the system just sits there, fans spinning but nothing happening.

@Any Asus Employee: Would it PLEASE be possible to reduce the blink rate of the power LED when the system is in sleep? There's really no need for it to blink at what seems like 3/4 second intervals. It should be 2 to 3 second intervals.

It actually keeps me up at night. I've resulted to putting a piece of electrical tape over the LED at night.

There's a whole thread on it, but no answer yet. The Windows hot fix is a long shot that I haven't tried yet. It should be included in SP1 and I'm not that put off by the sleep problem.

Yeah, not waking up from standby is killing me here....I hate having to do a full system restart.

Also, about the blinking light, my old IP35 Pro would do this every 5-7 seconds only, this Asus board is just to annoying with the fast blinking light!
