Has anyone upgraded from an E7xxx to an E8xxx for transcoding? IF so how'd it go?

I recently went from an E3300 ( that ran 3.7ghz stock volts ) to an E7500 that only does 3.3ghz with stock volts and even with the 400mhz lower clock on the E7500 it drastically reduces my transcoding times overall from almost an hour on average to between 35 and 45mins.

I'm wondering if anyone used thier rig for heavy transcoding and went from an E7xxx to an E8xxx and can let me know if I might be able to break the 30min mark overall if I spend the extra cash. Would the extra L2 make as big of a diffy from 3 - 6mb like it did from 1 - 3mb?

You'd be better with a quad core for sure.

Zotac NF610i-L-E says no to CPU's above 65w I've looked into this and people had problems getting a 65w S series quad to work in these mobo's and it seems to be a mixxed bag of results for those that tried.
