    Problem with Inferno Katana GTI

    hello guys
theres something weird happen to me here .. i have Geil Evol one DDR3 bus 1600 2x2GB CL9 memory and if i set it on XMP profile it suppose to work on 1600 but no it still work on 1333 and wen i try to adjust it manually to 1600 the windows read it as 1400 .. the motherboard's manual says it can handle 1800 max on oc so wat is wrong here i use G18 Bios the only case that ram will read as Bios wen OC the CPU to 4.00GHz so the ram reach to 1528MHz that is the only case that windows read the same as Bios .. one more thing wenever i go more than 1600MHz the motherboard won't boot at all
can anybody tell me what is wrong ?

You need to set settings manualy to get to 1600. Try reading some P55 OCin guide, it should help you set it right. XMP profiles most times doesnt work.. (and not just on Foxconns.
