    If its always flashing it means secondary bios is corrupted, light should be off if all is okay, light solid on means primary bios is corrupted.
    So something isnt right.

    I was getting the bios freezing any time I tried to exit, there is no way to choose which you boot which kinda sucks

    Ya, I listed the voltages in my post.

    BIOS = 1.45v
    CPUz = 1.48v
    DMM = 1.58v

    At higher bios settings descrepancy between bios and cpu-z is larger.

    @Blackoberst

    Any idea what this BIOS fixes?

    The MSI site doesn't list a change log.

    is still a large vdroop, nothing has changed in this direction, improves support for energy conservation and is probably enough, the rest is the same as in the previous beta bios

    Will flash to this methinks.

    Having odd issue at the moment. 4.6Ghz stable with Prime95 and Linx, but bluescreens when playing a 720p rip through WMP. Think voltages need bumping a little.

    This MB looks promising. I had a $3k rig sitting in eggs shopping cart for days waiting for a good b3 MB to not be sold out and this was the first one to do so. If I can get near the 5ghz range i'll be a happy camper

    Just started testing my new B3 motherboard and was wondering am I better with the latest beta bios or stick with the one it came with first? (V1.8 2011/2/14)

    Also in the bios there is a memory testing utility (memory-z), is it any good or not?

    So are people generally happy with this board. I have read lots of reviews and they seem to be pretty glowing. This board seems to have the best balance of features, O/Cing, and price. I might take a trip to micro center or frys(they should price match micro center) and grab this board along with a 2500K.

    I put mine together on a table last night just to load the OS and drivers. Make sure everything works. No OC yet. I will do that after i get the system up and running inside the case. I am using a crucial Satalll HD and can only say WOW, this system is blazing at stock compared to my 4.4GHz E8600 and DFI X38 setup. Can't wait to do some video encoding.
