awesome clocks there mate, Goodluck! 57x would the first i've seen..

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Nice! How many chips from that batch do you have? Do they all perform the same?

Great results, SB performance on Air is still blowin me away... Just got my first time personal use of SB tonight on my buddies 2500k, 4.0 was as easy as a click of a button on the stock cooler, haha I love it.

What type of temps are you hitting with those voltages on that cooler?

    Hey, same batch here
Got x55 MP-Wall no matter what I did
5.1g-5.2g Linx stable on air though
The only one 2600K I could rob from the local shop. There were only 10 pcs for the whole HK market

Oh boy...seems some serious binning is needed for Sandy

    Good job, Bro!

    hehehe
believe Dave, you are doing everything right ,your chip sux or need a better cooling
if you are a lucky guy you went to a shop and buy one like that and OC like what i did,
but if you are a unluck guy (like me) you will need to buy the damn lucky
and after weeks of searching i finally found one (or five ,i have five of them to test heheh)

and of course you need a good board ,TP67XE is one of the best P67 plataform

its my second Bro,the first is OK for 53x and hit the wall at 54x,
,but when i was tweaking the second i found the same issue at 54x,but its work at 55x ,56x and maybe 57x,when i set 57x on setup the systems will start to load OS but it will freeze after some seconds
i will re-run the first chip to see if is possible to load at 55x and 56x

    yes,
4 cores plus HT is a waste of time for me now, because 5600MHz is stable only for pi and pifast and i will not push the voltages just to get into windows with all cores at these speed
tomorrow will be more exciting ,so stay tuned

the way it scales with ln2 dont even bother. just get eat some junior mints or altoids or smoke a menthol cigarette and blow it on the CPU cooler and that should be enough. name gt and you are ripping that biostar board up... keep it up both of you!

A few mhz more with a little cold should be possible. My 2600k kept crashing with 5,5 in SuperPI on air (Noctua NH-D14) and could not boot to windows with multi 56x. At about 5 to 15 °C that was no problem at all. But chip gets unstable again at about 5,7 ghz. I can even boot the 57x multi ... sometimes into windows. But not 1m stable at any chance. 1,7 Volts do certainly not help.

Here is my best 1M run so far:
