Smile Sub 6min 32M with 2600K on Maximus IV Extreme

Here is my first super 32M under 6min with an Intel core i7 2600K

    Configuration :

Asus Maximus IV Extreme bios 0681
    Intel Core i7 2600K retail
    2 X 2Gb G.Skill RipjawsX 17066 7-10-7-27 1.65V
    Corsair AX1200W
    AMD HD 4350
    Windows XP SP3

    Vcore 1.6V
    VCCIO 1.10V
    VDimm 1.7V

This chip can do it with 4/8 but less hot with 3 cores enabled. His max cpuz is also 5650Mhz.

seems that with SB , Super PI benefits a lot from ram timings, right ?

what was the volt for the ram to do those awesome timings

super pi has always benefited from Ram frequency and timings, nothing specific about SB. And amazing clocks and efficiency their Pt1t

seems i have been away from xtreme for sometime

but i mean that w saw results @ nearly 5.6Ghz and the super pi was more than 6 minutes and 2 seconds as i remember,

so i was amazed to the big difference in results nearly cause only of ram

With Superpi 32m all benefits of Ram Freq. and timings are clearly noticeable unlike in Superpi 1m(this is for any platform), and a difference of 3 seconds and more can be easily seen in any platform just based on Ram and other tweaks in 32m. Ofcourse SB is bringing huge efficiency benefit by itself on other hand, for similar timings on Gulftown one required speeds of around 6100-6200Mhz for example.

Hmm, why have you set fan to blow the hot air directly against CPU instead of pulling the hot air up - away from the CPU?
