    F7d works great for me.

let me lower my volts & brought the temps down more. This is @ 1.42v set in bios.

Thanks, wow, very nice temps. I'll give it another shot. Probably pit error. ;-)

Nope, same thing. AHCI mode cause POST to hang after "Detecting drives"

Same thing here except with UD5 and the new F6b bios. Only option i changed was from ide to raid. You at least got further than I did. Mine hung solid at the gigabyte screen where you would hit del to enter bios. Something wrong with the sata controller in this bios. I coluldnt even get back into my OS because I am on raid. I hit the clear bios button and couple times then it finally brought up the bios recovery and reverted me back to F2 thank god.

Glad (well not glad, but) to hear I wasn't the only one. :-)

I had to let it boot into windows in IDE mode and then flash back to F6x.

Not an option for folks using boot raid.

Woohoo, microcenter has the TP67XE in stock. I might be doing a return exchange today. :-)

P67 platform is still new, give it some time, im sure with more mature bios releases everything will be ironed out. Run everything at stock if you are having issues. IM at 4.7ghz now rock solid stable with 8gb of ddr3 1600 cas latency 8. You just need to get the right voltages, thats all. Raise the voltage of your cpu and run prime95 on small ffts

Man, night and day. I'm lovin' this new MOBO. The BIOS is *nice*. My old UD4 had 8 phase power, this one has 10. AND it was $60 cheaper, gonna take the woman to dinner and a movie with a smile on my face.

    And not a single double-triple-quadruple-clearCMOS-reset yet. ;-)

Or a friggin BIOS update that doesn't support AHCI... OMFG.

Anyone with this board and EK supreme hf? Got supreme hf full nickel, which is pretty big and those caps are really near cpu socket.

Someone at HWLuxx asked the same question (having a HK 3.0) and he posted a pic of the board with block installed. (click the link in his post)

    http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community...60-post38.html

As you can see, it touches the caps.
I don't know if there might be a risk to a shortcut or so.

I'm asking the same question because I ordered the UD4 too, and also have the HK 3.0.

Here's a post from the same guy. He said he turned his block 90° and it seems to be better (don't know if I read it correctly though).

Ive also found F2 to be the most stable and requires the least amount of voltage for a decent OC. I can successfully OC to 4.6 @ 1.3v....For every day use I have it down to 4.3 @ 1.2v. When I use F6 or F7B - this OC fails miserably

Im going to stick with F2 for now as I like 4.3 @ 1.2v...Idle temps are between 26c-30c..Load is @ 50c...

My MAIN issue with this board is the USB3.0. Any time I connect a 1TB+ drive it detects it, then drops it, detects and it drops it...While doing this, it sees a drive but suggests I need to format it....Very annoying.

For it to remain connected, I have to first connect it to USB 2.0 and then back over to USB 3.0..

Anyone else have this issue? I too am seriously considering returning this and getting the P8P67 Pro...

Those links are kaputt!! I cant read them brother

But I did read somewhere else that they were able to use the HK3.0. You can bend the caps over a tad bit if you need to. I did with my hydroflow. Just need that little extra kittyhair for clearance. Dont be skerd brother, I know those big furry hands get in the way.

    Alright. I found this http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=264923

    Watercool HK 3 (W x H) is 59mm x 59mm
    Supreme HF base (W x H) is 55mm x55mm and top 57mm x 57mm - If EK datasheet is reliable

I guess im safe? At that thread pics block seems still pretty close to caps. But does it matter is the space 1mm or 10mm?

I was hoping to see a BIOS that didn't set the BCLK at 99.8 and didn't have to reset 3 times everytime I made any adjustment.

    Please Gigabyte, fix this board.

I'm trying to think of ways to test my RAM (I want to rule it out 100%), but the only other DDR3 PC I have access to is a P55-UD3/i5 750 system and from memory the RAM is bound tightly to the CPU with that hardware. It wont run faster than 1333, which is no good for my RAM...

Anyone else running into a problem where the board reverts to default clocks after waking from S3 sleep? I've tried both F7b and F6, and it does the same thing in both. I am using the CPU Ratio Multiplier to set the overclock, with all the turbo settings left at Auto. I tried setting the turbo multipliers to 45 manually (my current overclock) but then it wouldn't wake from sleep at all, just enter an endless reboot cycle.

Tried F3 and F6x but both also lose the overclock. Managed to get the multiplier settings working on F6x (so it doesn't reboot endlessly) but still no post-sleep overclocking.

    Any ideas?

My best results in low voltages are with hte f6x from hwbot or f7b. But I didn't oced with F2 though my board came with it. I'll give it a try.

F7d works for some configs very good, even with ahci. They could even lower the voltages by 0.02V (Source: HWLuxx Germany).

For me, I've still troubles with ahci while booting.

ive got this board, and when im testing for stability with linx and the cpus running at full speed 100% load on all cores with the voltage set at 1.33 in bios, the voltage drops to 1.28 then 1.24?

Any ideas, thought it should stay around 1.32 1.33?
