Probably not though, as they'll want to hold off for the main segment of users to jump on board with Z77 and that will be a selling point. Plus they already put all that work and effort into touch BIOS, so I kinda doubt it.

Nice to see you got it!

I didn't know you could even use that on P67 yet, without special BIOS mod or flashing to a Z68 BIOS, but I've been gone for a while so they might have updated P67 compatibility while I was away.

I haven't checked, but last I looked and used the program it was for Z68 only or boards that had been crossflashed to Z68 BIOSes.

Does it say for P67 where you downloaded it, or is it listed on the downloads for your board? If not, then it's still as it was, for Z68 only.

Should always clear DMI pool data when flashing along with load optimized defaults after flash. If not some times old settings wont get wiped and could cause problems.

Did you matchup your main and backup BIOS? I haven't played with this on P67 yet, at least not without a Z68 BIOS flashed into P67, and I just read after your posts that it was made P67 compatible.

Not sure why it would be working for you one second and not the next? Are you using the latest Intel MEI firmware update, if not here ya go

Maybe its something to do with enabling the real time changes option in BIOS

I haven’t used Touch BIOS but even if you had the option to change multi wouldn’t you still need to reboot for it to apply anyway.... & if so why bother.... why not just do it in BIOS.

For anyone with startup boot loop or other issues, here's another official update guys. I sent in a report on a few users still seeming to have these issues over the past two weeks, so here is there testing results and full reply.

Please pass this info along to your fellow Gigabyte users, thanks!

Test 3 models of Z68 boards with the following BIOS:

    1.) Z68X-UD7 with BIOS F10

    2.) Z68XP-UD3 with BIOS F9g

    3.) Z68AP-DS3 with BIOS FB

    Our test results:

1.) Press CTRL + ALT + DEL keys when during boot up or in DOS mode >> Cannot see “continuous reboot loop”, nor “Waiting for ME ready”, nor “system overclocking failure” message. The system just reboot fine.

    2.) Press the Reset button

A.) Press the button quickly and release immediately >> Cannot see any issue.

B.) Press the reset button for one second or so (This is not normal behavior.) >> System will shut down, and then power on by itself. Then the “Waiting for ME ready” message appears and then system will shut down and power on by itself again. Sometimes, it will show “System overclock failure” message.

    Moreover…

    According our testing before,
the issue of “continuous reboot loop” can be fixed by flashing the Backup BIOS with the same version as the main BIOS (latest one).
We Flash the Backup BIOS with the same BIOS version for the main BIOS version before test.
So be careful with that reset button and it should also work properly now too! But I still say avoid if/when possible

And always keep backup BIOS up to date matching with the main BIOS.

    I'm not sure man?

There isn't any over here, only a large pair of scissors to start the boards with or short CMOS's

Looks like the beta BIOS has been taken off of Gigabytes website. Wonder why?

EDIT: To upload the final F7 BIOS apparently.
