Could you test, what's absolutely max with 1,65V and 1,6?
Do ya think 7-10-7-27 1T is possible with 1,6V?

gSkills works great with SandyBridge. 2200 - 8-9-8-22-1t @ 1.65v comes naturally with this ram.

Runmc nice mate, really good bbse's!! Which cooler you running ??

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

    Noctua NH-D14 - it's a good user friendly cooler.

Not 6-9-6 but I can run at 7-9-7-24-1t. To be honest they may do better than 7-9-7 but 6-9-6 is going to take more voltage than I'm willing to offer. 1.68 is about as far as I go.

I already have last year elpida F3-17600Cl7D-4GBPIS ddr3 ddr3-2200 17600 1.65v 7-10-10-28 kit. I am looking for some new ram to play with and newegg has the 15% off and desktop ram promo code today 1-27-11. it ends in 2 hrs.
the best I did with the kit on clarksdale was 2000 7-9-6-28-1t

    2100 7-9-8-28

i was gonna order that same blue kit thats 8-9-8-24 they are 159. so after the discount they are around 130. out of the new ripjaws x black, blue and red kits. assuming youve benched the same kit I have from last year. what bin would be the best upgrade from my kit? I kinda want to use this deal while I can. hit me soon. I have 1:30 min left.

I am looking into this one

i hope you entered the code for 15% off.

my question is are these all hypers that they had from the past and just added the "Designed Specifically for Intel Sandy Bridge CPUs and P67 Platforms" and they just changed a few sub timings in the spd?
Or are these newer kits actually better than last years? Or is it sandy bridge mem controller just better than clarksdale was so someone at gskill said, "hey man I have an idea to rehash those old kits that we couldnt use for those clarksdale kits....since the sandy bridge seems to be better lets just change the heat spreaders and rebin them for sandy". I dont know what the hell is going on here. i just see you guys with these new kits "meant for sandy bridge" and wonder if they were actually meant for clarksdale but they found a loophole. nothing against gskill. that 17600 cas 7 f3 kit was my favorite kit last year. I dont have a sandy rig to test my current kit on so I am just wondering.
if I should just go to bed.
