Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

    Thanks, i have 2x2gb GTX3, my i3 540 could not use the GTX3 well. I couldn't use more of 1680Mhz, it's better configuration was 1600 6-7-5-18 1T 60.

    why is the 7-10-7kit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231451

    cheaper than

    8-9-8 kit?

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231450

is there a color code to this? I figured black is the fastest. is blue?

Is there any order to this?

because for a PSC kit to hit tighter TRCD it needs to be a tighter bin... its much easier to tighten cas on PSC than trcd

So which one is better for running tighter at 2133?

Pt1t did 6-9-6 32M with the 7-10-7 KIT,does this mean that 8-9-8 kit will do the same or might even do a little better?

Or even the 2200 7-10-10 KIT...What do you think, which one of these 3 is better performer?

My local dealer has just listed some new kits. They got a really good price, but the timing is not the best I've seen.

    G.SKILL Ripjaws-X 16GB DDR3 Kit for Sandy Bridge (4x4GB) PC3 12800 1600MHz Non-ECC CL9 9-9-9-24-2N 1.5V (F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL)

These are 1.5v tho, so I'm wondering if it's possible to push them more. Anybody has been playing with these? Otherwise any thoughts?

    ASUS P8P67 Deluxe (BIOS 1305)
    2600K @4.5GHz 1.27v , 1 hour Prime
    Silver Arrow , push/pull
    2x2GB Crucial 1066MHz CL7 ECC @1600MHz CL9 1.51v
    GTX560 GB OC @910/2400 0.987v
    Crucial C300 v006 64GB OS-disk + F3 1TB + 400MB RAMDisk
CM Storm Scout + Corsair HX 1000W
    +
    EVGA SR-2 , A50
    2 x Xeon X5650 @3.86GHz(203x19) 1.20v
    Megahalem + Silver Arrow , push/pull
    3x2GB Corsair XMS3 1600 CL7 + 3x4GB G.SKILL Trident 1600 CL7 = 18GB @1624 7-8-7-20 1.65v
    XFX GTX 295 @650/1200/1402
    Crucial C300 v006 64GB OS-disk + F3 1TB + 2GB RAMDisk
    SilverStone Fortress FT01 + Corsair AX 1200W

yes i think the 8-9-8 kit is a better bin, but it is very difficult to say mate,

every kit is different, so some 7-10-7 kits might be much better than the 8-9-8 and vicaversa,

I would suggest to buy the kit that most suites you requirements, then if it doesnt go way out of spec, it is already meeting most of your requirements. Then you can try push it and any performance benefits you get are a bonus. This is the way I will always suggest to buy a ram kit so you don't get disappointed if it doesnt work how you think it might
