My 2200cas8 hypers @2000cas7 stockV, or the ECO 1600cas7?

I acquired a good batch of 2200 Cas8 MGh-E black PCB before they sold out actually to be precise, Ewiiz or superbiiz most of us know told me i got there last of them.

They run 2000CAS7 7-7-7-21 at 1.64V and I'm really running out of ideas as to if i should sell these wonderful sticks of ram, and use my ECO G.SKill 4GB 2X2GB DDR3-1600 CL7-8-7-24 1.35V which we all know they can do 2000 cas 7 on there own with 1.70 and still perform long term...

My Main conundrum is that i need new Storage and i was wondering since i have a second set of those Ecos should i use them ? And just sell my Trophy Sticks? and buy an SSD and Two black caviars or keep these sticks and stay with my Seagate single crap Lol for an already 3500-4000 Rig ...

Try running some bandwidth tests, 2000 7-7-7 vs 2000 8-9-8...you cant expect 2000 7-9-7 out of the eco's, thats like expecting 2200 C8 out of the SuperTalent 2200 C8...oh, wait. It just doesnt happen all the time.

You cant do 2100 C7-7-7 @ 1.7v on the STT sticks?

IMO run some bandwidth tests and 32M at 2000 7-7-7 with the Hypers and then 2000 7-9-7 with the ECO's, then you decide.

Sadly the demand for these doesnt seem to be high around most people, I put my 2200 C8 kit up at TPU for $200 shipped and nobody bit. You'd need to sell them under $150 just to get people to look at it...except for people that enjoy them for benching...

I have run tests These speed series 2200 Cas8, do 2000 7-7-7-21 I had help from Sergio to understand them his good experience since we have the same batch, and im using P55 keep in mind,

The ECO's were tested by tintin i believe to perform at 2000 7-9-7, http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...74&postcount=1

=D soooo Honestly what do you think beep in my situation and not your's? i have no Fast HDD's or even one SSD...

Think its worth giving up nice ram for these reasons? i honestly don't even bench Ram that much if not at all my hearts with CPU's 0.0.

RAID 0 Caviar Blacks isnt worth it IMO, once the array fills up performance drops through the floor...

I got my X25-V as a gift from Gary Key, and honestly its maybe 10 seconds faster into booting than the RAID Caviar Blacks.

As far as the ECO's, he may have gotten 2000 7-9-7 out of his kit but different kits react differently since binning isn't too tight.

On selling the Super Talent kit, if you can find a buyer that will pay more than you paid up front that's a no brainer lol.

But when these were new I offered my 2200 C8 kit for $175 here, I only used them for my TechReaction.net review...I got three PM's by others stating that I was overpricing my ram...

I cant see anyone buying them until you price them at PSC prices, which is rediculous.

    Had I got them sold back then I'd have 12GB of 2000 C7 now instead of 4GB 2000 C8 and 6GB C7.

That V series SSD , i read up on its its suppose to be Half the performance of an M series 0.o i could have boughten a Vseries for 45$$ never used ... guy just didnt need them anymore no one would bite.

Bought honestly even running the ECO's at 1600 6-7-6 at 1.55-60 would be great seeing as the ECO's costed me 50$$ no tax lol!
