    How does this look?

I fancy having a play with some DICE, as I have no intention on benching with LN2 at all, As far as I can tell an aluminium pot will suffice, with a stainless steel mounting plate.

    The pot measures 85x200mm.
    Internal Diameter Steps
    • 75x150mm
    • 70x5mm
    • 60x5mm
    • 50x5mm
    • 40x5mm
    • 30x5mm
    • 20x5mm

Just steps? That means a low surface area and little mass in the middle.

What would you suggest for the internals that would be easy enough to hand machine on a lathe?

From reading on various sites the Rev 1 Koolance Pot was fine for DICE benching and had a similar internal design.
