Well people are pushing 1.6 for benches/testing, wouldnt go over 1.5 for every day use..

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Agreed.. Common sense says to me think of them like you would a 980x and maybe a bit less than that..
I'd max at 1.4 for air but yea, I'm conservative..
Ok, maybe 1.5 for a short bench..

I think, Vcore at CPU is wrong....Its impossible, then must be some Coolalwers chip get 1.0x V at 5 GHz :-D...Think, real voltage was between 1.475-1.6V.

Figured if massman was playing around he might try onboar graphics. The onboard graphics are monolithic to the cores now igpu also scales with temps correctly.

For those that dont know, H65 cannot OC the CPU in bios, P67 cannot overclock the igpu since it has no display port.

Only the guys with a free supply get to say that, thats not cool. Just killed or had stolen an £800 CPU? How many guys here can say "i'll just buy another!"

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

i think this tells a big story,
i dunno about everyone else but i find it really difficult to compare platforms at non-fixed speeds..

if we go back to Vince's 3dmark01 competitions, they are always locked at 4200 MHz on the CPU, now the last comp Monstru won with quite a different setup, a 920 with 5ghz uncore and a nvidia card on LN2... also ranked high in that competition was the 8600 + REX + 4890 combination...

now compared to sandy bridge, this run is just a fresh xp + driver install + flat LOD for all tests + order, so you can expect another 500-1000 points from this setup with some serious tweaking.. THERE IS A NEW 3D01 EFFICIENCY KING IN TOWN

This is what I had at 4200 with higher clocked VGA. With a little push on the VGA side, I think 95k should be no issue at all .
