    *GTX460 only* 3DM11 results

This is mainly for my curiosity, but hey a lot of people are still having fun OCing the GTX460 so its another little thing they can play with. Anyway, I'm curious to know what GTX460 owners score in 3DMark11. I somewhat suspect 3DM11 of being hardware biased, but thats where you guys come in Just post up a SS of your score and any other info you feel like tossing in.

Thanks guys. Those results exactly confirm what I thought. 3DM11 is yet another release from futuremark thats not only biased, its a pile of crap as far as benchmarks are concerned. I turn in 3916pts in the standard test with my GTX460 @ 875/4200, and CPU @ 3.8GHz. Kaktus hits a little higher @ 4.3k because of a higher GPU and CPU OC, but the best example lays with you andressergio. Your VC clocks can be considered average for a GTX460, but you have a i7 that for some reason 3DM11 thinks is worth lumping on a extra 3.5k~ to your overall score

Ah, that I did not notice. Wanna disable one GPU and run 3D11 again andressergio? I bet even with just 1 GPU a good 2k~ will be added to his score because its a i7. No specific technical reason, just "because its a i7" as far as 3DM11 is concerned.

yes i really dont use 3DMark as example of anything but yes games like Bad Company 2 + Vietnam and Medal of Honor, i can run both at maxed out settings 32xAA 1920x1080 keeping 60 fps solid with vsync on, fluid and smooth, i come from a 285 where max i could run is 4xAA

    cheers

Hmm, all seems to look about right there. Have any of you guys noticed how 3DM11 tests don't look any better than Heaven / Crysis Warhead maxed yet it performs like crap in comparison? I hate 3DMark. Hasn't been good since 3DM01SE

Perfect Looks to me like 3DM11 still suffers from some CPU bias. Your GTX460 OC is about the same as mine, but you manage to crack 4k because your CPU is clocked higher than mine. Some may think I'm obsessed, but in a age of where pretty much nobody games below 1680*1050, and DirectX combined with modern GPU design has evolved to the point of CPUs not playing any real factor (with the exception of SLi/CF) I don't see why any benchmark score should increase with higher CPU clocks, its not very real world anymore.

Same as above by looks of that; CPU gives you a extra 300pts. Thats a pretty big increase for a test thats supposed to focus on GPU performance.

The combined OC on that 460 is pretty immense. Why is your texture fillrate so low though?
