Going to be buying an ASUS P6X58D-E with an i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz LGA 1366 130W.

Was reading some reviews on this mobo on newegg about Ram incompatibility. Some say it's because this mobo doesn't like high voltage ram and that anything over 1.6v it has a hard time with. Whats the difference in 1.5, 1.6, 1.65 voltage rams?

I'd like to get 3 x 4gb sticks (12gb) to run in triple channel. Figured it would be better than 6 x 2gb because it would give me the ability to max the mobo with 24gb of ram if I wanted more in the future.

My question is... Which ram should I get? I'm not that big on overclocking. My rig is basically just a gaming rig. I love FPS games and play a lot of CoD MW2 and Black Ops and I do a lot of raiding in WoW.

Whats the difference between these 2 and why such a price difference?
