Core i7 980x Issues please help

Greetings my fellow extremers, I got my hands on a 980x batch 3013A525 to replace my 950.

Any way, even on default settings Linx would not complete 10 runs !!!

Maybe GT's don't like high bus speed (133), try at 100 and work the multi to OC..........

I'm trying intel burn test 2.5 right now and so far things look deferent than when using Linx, for example the Gflops in IBT is at 71.xxx rather than 50.xxx in linX, 've set ZIBT to do 20 runs, then I'll go up with overclocking

Probably your RAM or Uncore are causing the LinX-error.
Run a HyperPi32M first, maybe you need to reduce the RAM to 1600Mhz, and lower Uncore. Or more VVT.
But post a shot with mem-tap in CPUz too, then it would be easier to diagnose it.

I completed a 20 runs of IBT with no issues, now I'm testing 3.8GHz @ 1.28v

hope you use IBT with (12) threads, or else you gonna find trouble..
be carefull with that 980x its not a 950.

How much casrefull should I be exactly ; and yes I'm using 12 threads with IBT.
