Gigabyte G1-Killer Gaming Motherboard coming soon!

Gigabyte G1-Killer Gaming Motherboard coming soon!

Gigabyte has been very secretive Up until now about the new G1-Killer series of motherboards, and has only teased us with an image here or there.

Very little is known about the new motherboard lineup except that it will be directed towards gamers, and will offer killer looks (Yes, bullets do appear to be included).

We can see a machine gun magazine clip on the north bridge, and from the Intel logo we can tell that at least some of the lineup will be based on the X58 chipset.

For now we can only speculate from what little these images show, but they do make a great desktop wallpaper!

Further details will only be known once CES begins on January 6th 2011.

You can download the wallpapers below, and feel free to share them around as you please.

Click an image to begin a download

    4 image sizes are included for each download (1020x768 - 1280x960 - 1280x1024 - 1920x1080)

These may also be downloaded at the main G1-Killer website, for anyone that may have issues with the above links

Bit-tech has a preview here, with some great images and news of another possible lineup of the G1 based boards in the near future -one for us overclockers too.

Nope, none here, and that is all I know about them as well, not much

Not sure how many will be released, I assume plenty though. Or did you mean different models? If you meant how many models, I'm not sure on that either, we'll all have to wait and see what shows up at CES.

Why not do one per socket Stasio ? AM3, 1155, 1156 and X58... 3 new X58 models seems a bit weird... their current X58 lineup is more than good enough...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

    Both to you and Gigabyte...
Will they bundle it with XFX's machine gun 5970?
Makes Asrock's Fatal1ty motherboard look very decent. And people were making fun of it...
Then again, it's Gigabyte, I am sure they will get it to work properly.

I hope there will be no bullet holes on the motherboard, hopefully that teaser pic just added the bullet holes for fun. But other than that I look forward to these boards, though they should have made an AM3, 1155 and X58, not X58 exclusive. X58 is getting a bit old but at least the socket will last longer.

They built a new RMA center recently, in Barcelona. This should speed things up.

Son of a #%$& that is cool! I want one right now. It combines two of my favorite things. I thought about a build with a case full of bullet holes and now there is a board that can now go with such a build...Awesome!!!

All Gigabyte boards sold in the UK come with a 3 year or more warranty, Gigabyte is the only motherboard manufacturer with a UK repair centre as well. Most motherboard I've sent have been returned within 7 days.

How about waiting to see the res of the board....Might have something much more then a mag for a HS. All of them have a gimmick to sell more boards. I am just happy they are now moving away from the damn ugly colors of old.

I dunno, I just find that pic of the characters hell cheesy and cheaply made, almost like a 12 year old MW2 fan gave us his vision of spec ops
