    Worth modding for a Dice pot?

    Getting an EP45-UD3R and will be running 1066 DDR2, have all CPUs in sig (or will by the time I actually get the UD3R)

    so anyone think it's worth chopping the heatpipe up for a northbridge pot? I already have one

    also, suggestions for how to cut the pipe are also welcome, I assume I won't need a Porta-Band to cut the thing, but I have one
    and drain the fluid or seal the ends?

    That pipe will come off with out cutting it, pull the north bridge and turn it back and forth.
    Plus when you sell your ud3 you will want it to look nice and stock to get a good price.
