HD4850 cooler - gap between heatsink and mem chips

    Hello all!

I have a 4870 cooler on my 4850 card. It covers mem chips also, but there's almost like 1mm gap between, so they're not in contact. Any way of adding some thick thermal pads so they make contact with the heatsink or some other way to cool them, too?

    Thanx!

you dont really have to worry about it if your not OCing the ram very much. ive got 2x 4850s and only one came with ram cooling, and thats the one i had to RMA due to lack of vrm cooling, lol.
