Mount & Blade: Warband. Anyone else have this game?

You guys should check out Mount & Blade Warband. I got it from a steam sale a couple of weeks ago. And you can ride horses, use bow & arrows, swords, throwing weapons, crossbows, spears, etc...There's several mods out for it. I specifically play the C-RPG mod, where you start out as a lowly peasant and level up with xp and earn gold to buy better equipment. Here's a couple of youtube videos:

Agreed. Great game. I overlooked it for a long time, then I picked it up for $7.50 during the Thanksgiving Steam sale. I have put 103 hours into since then and I work ~60 hours a week.

Single player is great as well. Lots of mods. Good community. I don't think I can ever go back to F1, F2, F3 attack type of games. I love the skill/twitch based swordplay. It really can't be put into any current genre.

It will likely be on sale again at some point during the Steam sale. I would definitely recommend it (and I would only say this about 1-2 other games).

I love the game. Especially when you mod it for many many more troops during a battle, turns into so much fun. Nothing like having a wall full of archers rain arrows down on advancing troops

Yes I bought it too. Have yet to get deep into it. But man it looks like so much fun.

Yep, it is one of good sandbox games.
