    Memtest86+

    Memtest86+ V4.20 Beta 4

    Bin : http://www.memtest.org/download/beta/420b4/memtest.bin
    ISO : http://www.memtest.org/download/beta/420b4/mt420.iso

Memtest86+ V4.20 will be released in ~10 days. Changes are complete support for Intel "Sandy Bridge" CPU and some bug fixes. We added a "fail safe" mode for the rare case where memtest86+ fail to boot on some PC. Just press "F1" when Memtest86+ is loading to enter "fail safe". Many details will not be displayed on screen but the reliability of the tests will remain the same.

    Memtest86+ 5.00 Alpha 6

    ISO : http://www.memtest.org/download/beta/500a6/mt500a6.iso

Here is an "unstable" revision of Memtest86+ 5.00. The code is almost done, all features are implemented, BUT there is still a bug somewhere when relocating the code in SMP mode on some platform. I added breakpoint on Test #6 and Test #7 to debug this. Breakpoint will pop up as "errors" in those tests.

UPDATE: There is a confirmed hang issue in test #7 of Beta 3, with the "R" moving pattern that Doc TB is working on. It doesn't hang on all systems or on every run of test #7 but it does hang for many people.

Doc TB has been working on fixing the code Bugs in V5.0 Beta 1 & 3 for months. It's a lot of work but he's done a pretty good job. The more people who test V5.0b3 and report any issues, the faster the final code will be released. V5.0 has a lot of nice features and provides good info. during the testing process compared to prior versions.

Looks like Memtest86+ V5.00 is finally ready for Prime Time! It has lots of nice information about the CPU temps under RAM testing, what core is being testing with what RAM pattern, etc. which is useful, IME.
