EK Supreme HF missing P1

I'll skip the boring story and lead in... My EK Supreme HF Copper+Acrylic came without a P1 plate. P2 is installed and the Warranty sticker is still intact. Went through the entire box... nada.

At first I thought I was just unlucky, but I received a PM with the exact same problem and from a completely different vendor. Thus the reason for posting instead of working through the vendor to EK channel.

So, uh... , where is my P1? When did the change to P2 occur, and if this was a change within EK's processes are the boxes marked with a revision? What is the thinking behind the switch to P2?

when i got my hf nickel+acrylic

my p1 and p3 were stuck to each other, a quick search looked like there was no p1, but after i pulled em apart there she were.

otherwise i have nothing helpful to recommend : ). also curious about the plate 2 thing. would think if they repackaged it with a different plate it would be 1

Surely they wouldn't remove the injection plate that keeps the HF at #1.
I know it's no substitute, but did it come with the blank?

mine came with #2 installed, which is diff to what the manual said (#3) and to what i saw on reviews, i swapped it for #3 to improve my flow a bit.
the plates i got also have a diff design to those in the manual

I had exactly the same thing in mine. In fact I think that the plates that they showed on the instructions where different to the ones supplied. I ended up putting in one that gave the most flow.

Even with P1 the HF isn't very restrictive.

Hi, in the start we preinstalled jet #3.
After we found users want #1 the most we changed to #1, but as I checked now failed to update the manuals... (I apologize for that, will arrange that right away)

I cant say we could not make mistake and preinstalled different version, but this cant be more than few blocks.

To found out which jet plate is preinstalled, simply check which one is missing in the box.

If you are missing crucial jet plate send e-mail to our support and we'll arrange it for you.

I have a brand new Cu, Sidewinders shipped it out to me the same day they got the shipment (backordered).

Came with plate #1 installed, but no warranty sticker to be found.

Also, Eddy, I have to commend you on the fancy packaging . Much better than the faux-fire photoshopped background on the old EK boxes .
