    CeBIT 2011: Bulldozer comes[preview]-Confirmed boards

    Source
As we have learned from several corporate-related sources, the new bulldozer CPU and thus the associated boards will be presented at CeBIT 2011.

So several should we confirm known several bulldozer boards with the AM3 +-point socket. Here, we and our sources assume that several different boards with different chipsets and equipment at the exhibition will be seen. Nothing is known about the boards and the associated specifications, we inform you however.
Source claims that chips will be present with the new boards at the Cebit expo, not that Zambezi will launch at Cebit.
Cebit will be held from 1st to 5th of March.

forgive me but that link is hardly a preview or a confirmed list of boards?

All its saying is "there is boards and you'll see them at some point" ??

Who cares if there is processors and boards there? What the public really wants to see are some numbers.
As quoted by LowRun......"So, we are one week past AMD's worst case scenario for BD's availability but they don't feel like communicating about the delay, I suppose AMD must be removed from the reliable sources list for AMD's products launch dates"

It's a good sign that chips and boards are ready to be launched in Q2. I doubt you will see any numbers before launch though.

I know we won't. Personally I don't give a about the motherboards or what the CPU "looks like". Some motherboards are going to have more
PCI-E slots than others, or different power plane setups; wow.....that's my idea of excitement.

I think I speak for everyone when I say: FINALLY!! While it may be a small step towards availability, at least it's something.

HPTX? What the hell for? Even XL-ATX is a huge pain to fit anywhere... And you don't even need E-ATX to fit 4-way, look at the new ASUS P67 WS board...
Even for a super feature rich single CPU board XL-ATX is more than enough.
The best on-board cooling you can expect is what Gigabyte did, the mix of air and water cooling. No manufacturer will go for a stock waterblock-only solution.
Also, a decent 10-12 phase digital PWM should be good for 500W+... And is easier to cool, too...

Awesome, seems we will see new stuff at Cebit - this is highly unusual, last couple of years, all has been saved for Computex.

    Sure we can!
Let's just make some fake slides, and then we can get millions of hits just like the other sites that make fake slides.
Then we can see how fast JF-AMD responds to the fake slides and posts again that there is no delay .
And little does he know that the delta between posting the fake slides, and the time it takes him to respond is the direct correlation to the speed of BD's L3 & L4 cache.

See, plenty of things we can do.
