I would love to see some performance numbers against other boards, then it's a real review, Till now this is an in depth analysis of the boards build/components...

Spend some time on the tests too Steven, then you will be the worlds Nr 1 mobo reviewer !!
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Well i did a performance review on this board VS the X58A-UD5 clock for clock, same RAM, same GPUs. I don't have any other P67 boards, but honestly, I don't really care how boards compare in benches, there are so many variables involved its very hard to test them correctly, but hey if i get another P67 board ill do a test.

Well I can only get acces to Asus boards here. Gigabyte and Asrock are on full hold (no samples there). No word from MSI (have to recheck via Massman ) And as expected the the differences are negligable... but never had the M4E as it seems to behave better with Hyper rams and co, then the rest... since you go as deep would be nice to see, via results, why the UD7 should be better than eg the UD5 or lower specced boards... I want to find a similar reply with the Asus boards...

Well i think it has to do with the NF200 of course and SLI, for large resolutions 16x,16x beats out 8x,8x without NF200. Plus with 3 cards you have to have nf200. Or course the GB boards are very good at 2d stuff like superpi. Yea it would be nice and I could do that, you gotta understand I am one man.

    Cool

Did is the Gigabyte has confirmed that it intends to introduce full UEFI implementations (friendly graphical interface with 1024x768 resolution, support mouse, more languages - Asus efi bios currently support 6 languages ,Msi efi bios support 15 languages and other efi features )) to their bios the socket 1155, AM3 + and future sockets ??? because for now uses it hybrid efi bios.

    quotation from page http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=3761#ov
DualBIOS™ 3TB+ HDD Support (Hybrid EFI Technology)
Hybrid EFI Technology combines the benefits of GIGABYTE's mature BIOS platform including stability and compatibility with 3rd party products with 3TB+ HDD support from EFI technology, allowing GIGABYTE to offer the best of both worlds through a quick and easy BIOS update using GIGABYTE's @BIOS utility that is freely available from the GIGABYTE website.
one could surely do with the Bios would be chip version of the classic elements of efi bios and full efi bios with support for mouse-friendly graphical user interface, support for multiple languages.
Did Gigabyte hybrid efi bios, running in 32-bit or 64 bit mode and is immediately available to boot the system, all memory. If your motherboard bios P67 B3 operates in 16 bit mode and is available for the latter only 1 MB of memory??

Nice details for introducing in this review

@Leeghoofd: I'll talk about its performance numbers as I can when tested this week end.
I just hope the CPU to be good enough and the PerfectStorm to match with... 3gfxs ??

cool Eeky... Gamer has a UD5 now, looking foward to test it's efficiency too... I bet it's UD5 > UD7 for 3D single card...

We'll see I should post some screenies thru the week end for sure.

I just expect the 3way CF to be better than on the P55 one... there's some little 2way SLI to do if I have the time.

    [no LOD]
The chip will make the difference anyway

For sure single will blow, cus all his cards we have in common are modded imo ^^

I'm looking at getting a UD7 but would the NF200 cause any latency issues using a single vidoe card or would a UD5 be better??
    Cheers

yea the NF200 add latency no matter what platform it is on, its only good for SLI setups. On this platform with a single GPU you should get the UD5 unless you have another PCI-E device, because then your card will run at 8x, and if you have a very high resolution monitor that can take advantage of 16x then it might be a tad different situation

Did anybody tried a 3770K on the P67A-UD7-B3 (bios F7 seems to support Intel 22nm CPU E1 stepping)? Any downsides on still using the "old" UD7-B3? I was thinking about an upgrade... but i will wait till i know it's really running ok
