    Acer does not put a simple fan grill to their notebooks?

    Well, i have seen this in 3 notebooks so far.. including mine

    in the manual there is an exhaust grill over there.. N° 6



    But all i see is this..





    I found this on internet, somebody just cut the plastic away and put a custom grill..



    Im out of warranty with my notebook, so i accept opinions, im about about to do the same...

    Wow, I don't think Ive ever seen a fan grill used just for aesthetics

    If you have some mesh lying around you could always do this (my G72Gx):


    lowered temps by about 10C
    yep, that's electrical tape lol windows key sticker was falling off and I'm all out of scotch tape

    Temps right now are not a problem, but summer its coming so I'll have to do something about it...

    Wow. I am sure glad my AO532H has actual air holes. That is quite the manufacturing flaw.

    There's no problem cutting that portion out and using fan grill in its place. Just make sure it doesn't connect/make contact with anything other than the grill and the plastics of the case. It won't hurt the system and more than likely would only help.
