Hi man!
Great results! But what about temps b4 the mod? You have a worklog on how you made it to fit?
Could you tell me approximately how many degrees could you cut off? And also, would you be so kind to share your worklog with us?
I think 9-10 degrees. I not make the pictures when make the mod but for him you need this:
One Thermalright Spitfire:
http://thermalright.com/products/ind...at_id=30&id=93
Part from Socket 1156 Bolt-Thru-Kit Rev.B:
I mean this LGA775 Bolt-Thru-Kit Rev.2 also OK:
One screw and one nut from this Chipset Bolt-thru-kit:
One screw and one nut from Bolt-thru-kit of Spitfire
And of course thermal paste
For montig the fans I use this clips for the push fan :
For the pull fan I use clips of Spitfire
That's all
Just a thought, but what is the point of having a UD9 if you are going to take up half the slots with a heatsink?
I think you may need a few more fans and heat sinks if you want to have good temps....That is sweeeeeet!!!
lol awesome, does all this fit in a case or you sticking with a bench setup?
Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?
...that's all I've got to say. Nice temps!

You could move one of the TY-140 fans from the Spitfire to the Silver Arrow:
3 x TY-140 fans on the Silver Arrow (You may have to mount the 3rd TY-140 fan above the RAM)
1 x TY-140 fan on the Spitfire = possibly freeing up another PCI-e slot?
I also think that the UD9 was overkill for this: I think you would have seen the same results on a UD5 rev2.0.
Regardless - excellent results. It is among the best aircooling component selection and overclocking results I've seen (considering that it's quiet - low noise)
I hope you do something equally ridiculous with the GPU cooling. It looks like you don't have your video cards yet...
