    Dry Ice / LN2 pot dimensions/CAD?

Does anyone have a CAD of one of their pots they would share? I wanted to run a few simulations using COMSol and Solidworks to see a performance comparison to the one I have been mocking up.

PM me if you are willing to share,
    Cory
What if the hokey pokey really is what it is all about?

One of the better DI containers out there, REV2 Mousepot. Jason aka Mickey Mouse shared his design drawing a few years ago. To modernize it, you could make it a split material design (CU/ALU) that would save machining time and headaches, as well as material cost. Some people may not like a flat base, but for DI it's hard to beat. A drilled base will usually clog where this will not.

GHZ how would the load holding be on that pot? not very much surface area for heat dissipation....

980X @ 5200 idles @ -68 or so, in Vantage CPU test you loose around 8° by the end of each test. You might do slightly better with a drilled base on a clean container, but as the session goes on you have to fight clogging which ultimately will make things worse.

I just stumbled onto an old album on my photobucket. all my old cad designs are pictured there as well as some other stuff. Please keep in mind some of these designs were purely just me learning solidworks so they wont make any sense from a physics or machining standpoint.
The other thing is I did at one point try to recreate some more famous pot designs so if you see anything that looks like a blatant rip off, thats because it is.
