Installing win 7 on Onyx SSD is a No Go ?

    Right so...

    long story, short version:

    New rig, has SSD.

    Installing 64bit Win 7 ultimate.

I select the SSD, tell it to "go" and when it starts copying the install files to disk it error's and tell's me I need to reboot to install -_-

    error:

windows encoutered a error going to the next step of the installation (something along those lines)

I thought the SSD was like ... write protected but that makes no sense at all does it ?

apparently windows threw a hissy fit because I plugged my SSD into SATA port 8 instead of port 0...

8 was easier but no, it had to be the first port of the SATA controller ...
