Official XS WCG Hardware Giveaway II

    XS WCG Hardware Giveaway #2

    The Rules:

You must be a member of the XS WCG team to participate (your name must appear on the Free-DC XS team stats page, and you must have some credit to your name).

To win something: PM me with the number of the item you want, or post it in this thread, before December 11. If there are multiple items under your requested number, please specify which one(s) or how many you want. You can request as many items as you want. Be specific please.

Hardware winners must pay shipping. Hardware donors may pay shipping if they choose, but as a general rule, people getting free hardware must pay the shipping costs.

    Limits:
One big-ticket item per winner (current generation hardware or something of significant value). Multiple smaller-ticket items per winner is possible (previous hardware generations or abundant items).

Name drawing on Saturday December 11. Expect the winners to be posted on Sunday December 12.

Hardware winners are responsible for contacting the donors and coordinating shipping and payment.

Pictures of donated hardware are encouraged. Pics of completed systems built from donated hardware also encouraged.

PM me with questions or ask ‘em in the thread.

See you at the cure! Crunch on!!

    hi In order of preference
    CPU: #7, if I dun win that , #15 then #2 then #12
CPU: probably less popular because of the investment needed 4times #11 would be nice to put at work (my boss will pay for the electricity for crunching and he'll get a second free network back-up drive (namely an arima F3000 ubuntu as a backup server))

    Misc
#79 and 78 would be nice for the crunching rig the 775 would go into

#75 (all coolers) and 1x#76 could come in handy

honestly #7 and #11 would be sooooo cool the rest would just help get the 775 up and running.

If you sent me a PM (and there are many) I have received it and acknowledge it. Your name is in the hat(s) as requested.

One question to answer: If you received something in the last giveaway, or participated but did not receive something last time: you can participate & win in round 2. Some winners from the HWGA #1 have chosen not to participate, so as to better share the love; and I will not be participating, to avoid the appearance of impropriety

    13 or 18 please

Be nice to go to a quad core instead of my dual core

If both are open when i win ill take 13 first as i believe someone will make better use of 18 than what i could initially.
