AMD @ 7200 Mhz is coming - new WR

New AMD bench session, and at this time, we got more than 7200 Mhz...
Two times we can validate 7229 mhz, but the files were corrupted (dumped file).
Many attempts and adjustments but the best I got was 7197 MHz, the new WR of AMD.

    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1513286

The worst was the asus motherboard have broken and delivering the message:

The data in the EC or EC flash might be corrupted.
Please contact ASUS Technical Support for help.
    Fatal Error... System Halted

After trying to fix the motherboard, without success, we decided to borrow a GB 890FX UD5 to try other benchs 2D.

Right away we see serious problems, since the Ratio always had problems and NB did not rise (we got only ~4300 Mhz at GB 890FX UD5 but we can reach about 4900 Mhz, same chip, at Crosshair 4 Formula).

Forgetting that system sucks, we did run the tests

    SuperPi 1M sub 10s (#2nd Global AMD)

SPi 32 M showing on the screen of CPUZ, the problem we had with Ratio (down alone)

Spi 32 sub 10:30 min (#2nd Global AMD)

I'm sure we can got better results with a Crosshair, as well as many more easy to climb up the parameters, and the rog conection is much more pleasant to work with than K10, AOD or easy Tune.

But unfortunately the ASUS board was defective and there is no RMA from ASUS in Brazil, so I hope that someone can read my post and help me to fix or replace the board to try another results (lol)

Thats a funny AMD overclocking session

For 7.2GHz on AMD, Asus should accept an RMA before you've even finished asking It would be great marketing for them... also AMD!

    Great work guys!

its only little NDA think, cause its not diference between x4 970 and 975 (only 100 MHz clock)

    Thanks guys
the chip was purchased then there are no NDA; and i intend that s no diference to show the chip performance now, or in few days more.
    I think 955, 965, 975 is a same chip...
You can take a 955 many better than a 965 and i think will be goods and bads 975 chip.
That's a lucky chip in my hands, no doubt

little NDA would be a week before NDA is up, this is 1 1/2 months.

You got the chip off ebay right? I can't find one 975BE listed on ebay

I'm damn exhausted, but this score keeps me awake

Now, you've probably noticed the IMC/PI problem @ high cpu freq. & NB ?!

First benchs (7134 day) problem was TRC and crap OS.
Last benchs (7197), we have all good... Crosshair and SO all right, but the fking MB crashes....
    The message:
The data in the EC or EC flash might be corrupted.
Please contact ASUS Technical Support for help.
    Fatal Error... System Halted

After...a crap UD5 BIOS not allow me to go more than 4400 at NB, and lots of issues (Ratio, Voltages, etc)
I hope i can fix the Xhair, then go to try with a best MB (i don t know about 890FX UD7...i think can be a very good MB...but i wanna forget UD5)

    I bet you were using UD5 2.1ver., can't go over 4400NB
Try UD7 2.0 ver. for LN2 & may break PI WRs

Oh..my suggestion is made without bias !!!
