    RO/DI water for coolant?

So I'm in the middle of redoing my loop and many have told me to drop the pr-mixes and go with deionized water.

I remembered that I have a RO/DI unit for my aquarium.

I haven't used it in a while but according to my TDS meter comming out of the RO is 002ppm and out of my DI unit im getting 000ppm so it appears to still be in full working order.

So some juice from my machine and a killcoil or 2 and all should be well ya?

I bring home RO/DI water from my dad's aquarium setup every time I visit them and use it in my loop and it has worked fine with nothing but a kill coil.
