    Thermal paste at store in NYC area?

    Anyone know where I can pick up a tube of MX-3 in the NYC area? I don't have time to order anything from any of the major online retailers before I have to go back to school.

    Wal-Mart?!?!? They sure don't sell that kind of stuff @ any of the Wal-Marts I have been to up here.

    Yah, not really what I'm asking...I use google just as well as anyone. Looking for firsthand knowledge of a store around NYC (preferably outside, White Plains-ish area, but I'm willing to travel) that carries good quality thermal paste.

    BTW, why hard to aply MX-3? Maybe better get improved on that account MX-4?

    Never had a problem with MX-3. I just blob it down in the center and use the heatsink to spread. Works great.

    frozen cpu is based in Rochester NY he can call them and try to pick it up from warehouse,i use MX-2 and love it

    Yeah, but that's almost a 6 hour drive one way coming from White Plains. . .It's about 1 ½ hours one way for me from Buffalo and I've made the trip more than a few times.
