Here's my 6800nu (softmod) with a MCW-50 t + a 6800 mounting kit modded slightly to allow the tec block to be fitted. Around 34c full load allows me to oc the core to 450mhz.

ohhhh pretty nice and clean tec setup and good oc.
Cooling is life the rest just details.
Looks really nice and effective Datanusse! As well as many other peltier projects that has been posted here.
Maybe its way too early for me to post pictures but here are two from my peltier project i intend to build in this summer:

Im going to test that setup as normal cpu cooling and as a waterchiller. Peltiers are 172w Drift-08 and they (only two) are going to be used with 17v wich is pretty optimal voltage for them.
Diode bridge and peltiers in waterchiller use are going to be cooled with that rather big 8kg aluminium heatsink with 2x120mm fans on it.

2 Seperate loops for the dominator eh... Loooks good man.
If you have a cooling question or concern feel free to contact me.
Heres my pc so far.
172w Tec on the x850xtpe cooled by a thermochill 120.1, c systems cs750 and maze 4 block.
No closer up pics though
Nice set-up is that with a single PSU? and if so what size?
Its the Enermax 600w noisetaker one rails all seem good to.
X850 temps are unknown the lian li temp lcd cannot read below 0C and atitool reports 60C. Load temps are 3C though.
(Its only running at 12v so ~100W not the full 172
Past few days I've been playing with some random parts I had laying around, I built myself a nice little PSU and found a big heatsink, this will all eventually go on my 9700pro AIW, but I don't have the insulation required to do so ATM, so i"ll update when it's done, anyway, here's what I've got so far:
I have the same card and would like to do the same, where did you buy your tec and Maze block..ThanksOriginally Posted by marvt74
Ah, what the hell. It's getto, but I'll post it anyway.
Yes it worked. Got me 25 more mhz on the fsb. Temps were around 5C.
that's true engineeringOriginally Posted by labrat23

See you may get better results thru a plate on the hot side. Pelts work best when clamped, I dont think your providing any clamping force.

I've been testing my homemeade block a bit now, i have canged that copper plate on the top to plexi and i have, of course, added a coldplate.
Here's a few pics:
Temps on a Sempron 2600+ @ stock:
Load: 6 degrees c, water temp was 24,3 degrees c.
Idle: -7 degrees c, water temp was 20,5 degrees c.
I am really statisfied with these results... Finally
Isn't that risky how you've hooked up your pelt? Lots of amps are flowing through those wiresOriginally Posted by aasmaukr
Yes but the peltier is sealed at any spot the wires come in. THough it does look like theres some blue slush coming out of the block...

Nice stuff. labrat23 that is beautiful.
