Yeah i worry about that too!!! Man i cant even start a crop!!!!

    Just kidding!!!

If you build a F@H farm, you gotta look for all the refurbs and cheap onboard everything boards.

Bad thing is all those cheap 1700+ DLTC's are a thing of the past. Mid $40's if you all remember!!!

it was good while it lasted!!! Thank you AMD for then, but F you now for these locked chips. Hard building cheap F@H rigs with locked multi's and no pin painting works anymore!!! Cept for the biostar nforce boards, there's no running high fsb on integrated boards.

    Just kidding again

Thats a pretty cool budget system, this is what i was bragging about:
    Intel 3.0C @ 3750mhz (stock volts/cooler) - 2x 256mb Corsair 3200LL TwinX (BH-5) - Abit IC7 - 128mb ATi 9800 Pro - 1000JB - Antec 550watt - Creative Audigy - $775 AUD (590 USD)

Got the 9800 Pro/Audigy/Corsair off Major Slaughter (9800 Pro is either dead, or on its last legs ) - $450 AUD - $325 USD
Got the Antec 550watt PSU and Abit IC7 off a member of Atomic - $160 AUD - 120 USD
Got the HDD for $95 AUD - 70 USD
Got the 3.0C free (its a loaner, found its previous owner a 3.2C ES that does 4.3 in his Vapo, so i got offered his as a loan. Sorta like a finders fee).

Aside from the 9800 Pro, everything else is humming sweet
    Set me free.

He.... he.... just got lucky this time . I've got superman P4 2.0A @ 3.6GHz with default voltage 1.500V . Its SL6QM D1 chip.... no wonder.....

Thats really an oddity to see a 2.0a O/cing that high at 1.5v

Pretty damn nice if you ask me as the majority of 2.0a's don't overclock anywhere near 3Ghz, if memory serves me correctly they averaged 2.6 to 2.7 and most used higher voltage. In fact thats the fastest 2.0 I have ever seen now that I think about it.

Screenie would be nice. But doesnt matter. Could happen. Best i could ever get one up to a 2.0a was 3.2ghz in my vapo and about 1.9volts.

Gotta be the only 2.0a that will do that.

he... he.... he.... Don't kill me, okay? I modded my PSU to give all the rails overvolts: 12.6V, 5.25V, 3.60V. So I just gamble with FSB.

My P4 2.0A actually can boot windows at 185FSB ( 3.7GHz ) with 1.550V ..... of course I can't play games since it crashes every 2 minutes. I would be a nuts person to operates computer at that speed, just to hold the no. 1 record.

Teddy...... I like your double brain system, I say WOW when looking the CPU arithmatic score . But come on buddy...... I'm using 1 brain here..... and you've got two. So lets make this thread the most simple, cheap, and fair competition.

No secret on the PS you hotrodded. Most of ours are. isnt going to do much anyway 1.6v isnt much. the 2nd shot i posted is a lot more.

Use the attach just like OC forums.

Huh??? how come?? Mine seems to do great.

Yes it only uses one chip for games, but still even one chip on mine is a little more MHZ than your sig rig. Only a few games are optimzed for dual cpu's i know that also. But the one's that are cant be touched by any single cpu system.

You must be thinking of a pair of 1 gig amd's or something for the bases of your post??

Plus i can host a game on the same rig as im playing. A dedicated server assigned to one cpu, and play on the other!!!

Try that on yours. Or encode a divx movie while playing your favorite game.

Now I am a bit skeptical of your claims, a screenshot would be nice, and a benchmark would be nice as well, although you did mention it will just boot to 3.6-3.7. I need to see it to believe it.

Tell you what, Email ME a screenshot, I will host the pic and post it here for you.
