    Exclamation NVIDIA GTX 590 (picture+Details)

NVIDIA GTX 595 WILL COME WITH Dual GF110 maybe 2 GTX 580 or 2 GTX 570
    + this card will have 512SP X2 and will have 3 DVI-D + NF200 bridge chip + 2-8 pin

    Update:

new Details about this card GeForce GTX 590

    ----------------

GeForce GTX 590 in February with dual GF110

the Name will be GTX 590 not GTX 595
NVIDIA has already set the launch date of GeForce GTX 590 to sometime in February

With dual GF110 GPUs comes a big memory buffer. GeForce GTX 590 gets 3072 MB graphics memory work with and with dual 384-bit memory buses bandwith shouldn't be a problem. Reference design set with large centered fan

We have no pictures to show of the card since NVIDIA is holding everything tight before the launch of the new flagship. According to reliable sources to NordicHardware the reference design is set and as expected the card will get a full-cover cooler with a large radial fan in the center. The fan will be around 90mm in diameter and hte card will be very similar to GeForce GTX295 (generation 2), but most likely a bit longer.

Launch in Febrary with a surprise

NVIDIA has already set the launch date of GeForce GTX 590 to sometime in February. The exact date was not revealed and from what it seems like it is aiming for a launch similar to the one of GeForce GTX 580, in other words as soon as possible to surprise competitor AMD and the media.

Today we know more about GeForce GTX 590 than we know about Radeon HD 6990 "Antilles" that sporting dual Cayman GPUs will arrive in February. NVIDIA beat AMD with the new performance series a few months ago, but the question is if they will do it this time too.

Top end Dual Nvidia have never had 2 of the top chips I thought? Usually the second level chip due to heat and power envelopes.

Saw about 15 billion such dual Nvidia GPU samples. Nothing materialized.

dual 580s still impossible with 2x8pin. most likely dual 570 or dual some other chip.

Retarded. You can't mount containers on that.

If nVidia can pull this, it would be a pretty good engineering job of its own. It might be done with some strict binning & special cooling i guess, but i think getting two full 512 SP chips into a card while still clocking it decent enough will be quite difficult.

I'm sure they can pull of a dual GF110 with 2x8-pin but imo it's just not worth it if you have to go over 300W. Too hard to keep cool and you can do the same much easier with two cards.

Youre sure? the 580 even has a driver throttling to prevent it going above 300w (which its capable of) so how is a 3gb 512 shader dual card going to keep under 300w is beyond me. Certainly doesnt sound like a walk in the park to me. Even antilles sounds crazy, this is just near impossible in my book.

Anyone taking bets on if such a beast would actually hit the shelves? I just can't imagine them pairing up some GF110 cores for this. GF104, yes, GF110/100 no.

Dual GF110 means so many things i dont think its possible that this thing has two GTX 580's that will be retarded if true because of there is no way dual 8 pins can support two fully fledged GTX 580's with the 772mhz speed maybe the speed is lowered then it maybe possible but the decrease in speed will have to be a lot to fit in the TDP limit.

I dont think they should use either GTX 580 or 570 they should just use the best shader config and speed combo possible and release that sdk as the GTX 560, the rumored shaders for the GTX 560 is on the lower side and would have like if they were around the GTX 470.

You gonna come over and de-solder/re-solder my 8-pins on to the backside? Without bricking the card?

dual gtx 470 with lower tdp thanks to the new rework would be doable.

Ah now I'm on the same page with ya. Speaking of shims, I need to order one for my SS anyway to help with capacity...

Looks like a pretty early engineering sample to me, the flaps haven't even been snapped off yet. Looks awesome though.

If a 600w psu would handle this w/ a quad, I'm there (if my wallet contents multiply!).

This in an SG07 would be crazy. Pulling in cold air from the outside would probably keep it cooler than in a large case!

    hi Editor

    do not forget 6-pin use (75 W) 8-pin use (150 W) = 225w , GTX 580 use 244w . so GTX 595 use 2-8pin this is Mean 8-pin(150w) + 8-pin(150w)= 300w so I think GTX 595 will use TPD:325-350W not 488W

I'll take your word for it

If this is the case then good luck SLIing it. I don't think tdp is going to be a huge problem if this is the only card in your system and you're not planning to OC the outa it.

    Nope. 6-pin = 75w. 8-pin = 150w. Pci-e = 75w.
