most controllers can be set to sas or sata based on firmware for drive controllers, so its a matter if they wanted to they could change it to sata but this is for SANs im guessing so u would sas that way u can go native ISCSI

Kind of odd how it uses an Intel controller but has twice the speed of the current Intel drives.

I heard about that drive, but I never was able to find one for sale on any normal consumer sales channel. To be honest, I really love my FusionIO duo drive, but I hate the fact that it isn't bootable.

they showed a vertex 2 with 25nm and ocz dose not announce when they change nand you only hear about it once it effects firmware or from the forum. and 34nm is old and on the vertex/agility1 and the intel g2 (i have an agility and an intel g2 with it) the new one is 25nm and is shipping now.

and sorry for my comment above i got the 34 and 25nm backwords.

It will still die in 3-5 years after its controller dies.

Not to mention, most of the sas drives sold in servers these days are 2.5" as well. At least the servers I encounter in my line of work.

error rate looks a little high
