    Panorama Photography

So I just got back from the West End and I've actually never done this before. I went out with the intent on stitching together 3 shots of the city in Photoshop CS4. It didn't turn out that well IMO.

I had a hard time getting the horizon level. Almost like it's warped and there was no level position.

It also ended up being pretty soft when stitched together for some reason.

It also ended up being pretty low resolution... not sure why I would have expected it to be almost 3x wider than the normal resoltion.

Feel free share you panoramic photos and any tips or experience with panoramic photography.

Shanghai - Pudong Skyline by lkiller123, on Flickr

    In Shanghai with my P&S.

A Panorama that failed hard. I took five shots but only two could be stitched together...

How do you stitch files together while keeping the original resolution? I'm using 4256 x 2832 files and when they are stitched together 3 different photo editing software reduces the combined file to 1886 x 673...

I just use Photoshop CS5. Resolution of the image is 15830 x 12664, so 200 megapixels.
