ive got a 4850x2 chugging alone. im gonna go out looking for a MW@H-able graphics card for my 2nd pc cause my 8800gt aint
and you got more points because i had to UNDERCLOCK my 4850x2 to keep it from burning out. it is capable of running at 725mhz per core and its at 500mhz to keep it stable
edit: well maybe not for HIpno >_>

Look into running that 8800gt on our GPUGRID team Nvidia's do best there.
Everything you need to know
Joining the easy way just make sure you run the Dev.Drivers at the bottom of the guide
GPUGRID has them as too slow or not working but WFO just ran 4x8800gt's and 2x9600's on GRID without issue all last week running the Dev. drivers.
You have ~4days from receiving a WU to return on GRID and they take ~12-24hours to complete a WU.
If you where dedicated to it and let it run Im sure you can score ~10k ppd. Thats what Im aiming for with a 9800gt (8800) just got messed up with the wrong drivers for awhile.
Looking good so far with the Devs, knocks on would.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering what kind of temps I should be watching out for. If I run at 500MHz I top out at about 69*c and at 550MHz I'm at about 74*c. I'm not sure how much an extra 50MHz does and if an extra 5*c is that bad.
Thanks for the help.

masterg may I ask you where on the globe you are based. 40 Degrees external temps that's a lot. I think you should study a cooling system for your room based on the heat emitted by your system. These are called adsorption systems.
