Is there any chance to do the crysis warhead bench on full settings 16xAA using 1920x1080 on a 580 just to see where my 480 fairs!

You have "coldslow", phenomen happen on GTX 480 too. You need a modded bios to fix this.

i have shaminos bios on,+ remember this happens on air with that card also ...i'm rma'ing that one this week.

Cowie, that evga BIOS won't work. It's only 52k and the 580 bios is around 82k. There is apparently a bug with gpu-z, and it dumps the bios incorrectly. You have to use nvFlash v5.100 to dump to get the correct image.

Go here and pick up a correct evga bios

Am not sure what is wrong in the game at them setting am getting between 65/70FPS Avg using fraps on a single 480! Is it because have got my pci setting to 125Mhz with my oc on tight cas6 mem!

testing my 580 today - 960/1900/2300 = pass easily.

but lower scores then 905/1810/2300.

I see no throttling issues within GPUZ sensors or EVGA tools.
but scores are lower by about 200 in 3dmark2006 each time.

@Gaul - ill give 06 a shot a bit later but im on stock 980x cooling since i didnt get the hardware for my ifx14 cooler.. new cooler is coming tomorrow either way

@GoldenTiger - thanx i had to resort to afterburner for 1.156vgpu

still stock bios no mods at all other than the soft vgpu

@Kunaak - your already at 2300 hmm though what vgpu? havent run 06 yet dont know how it behaves
